A conversation with private sector companies, women entrepreneurs, and community representatives on how to increase women’s participation in the renewable energy sector.
IFC is pleased to invite you to a morning roundtable on gender and renewable energy. The objective of this interactive session is to bring together companies, women professionals and entrepreneurs as well as community representatives to discuss the existing gender gaps and
identify the opportunities to enhance women’s participation in the renewable energy sector as leaders, employees, community members and entrepreneurs in corporate supply chains. The participants with their diverse experiences present a unique opportunity to both understand constraints and brainstorm solutions for a more gender-equitable renewable sector. During this session, IFC will also present Energy2Equal, a new renewable energy and gender program that aims to work with companies in the region to reduce gender gaps through private sector led interventions.
The event will take place on June 17th from 9:30 am – 11:45 pm at the King Fahd Palace.
