Mining, People and the Environment

From the introduction of legislation to address climate change and greenhouse gas emissions to working with indigenous peoples and local communities surrounding proposed projects, environmental and social responsibility has become an integral part of exploration and mining. Against this background, Mining Environmental Management in partnership with PDAC and ICMM proudly presented their first environmental event in conjunction with PDAC’s annual convention in Toronto, Canada on Saturday 6 March
