African Mining Indaba 2010

The African Mining Indaba is a premier networking platform for mining industry representatives. This year’s event gathered over 4,000 attendees, nearly 275 sponsors/exhibitors and government representation from nearly every country in Africa.

The Mining Indaba attracts mining analysts, fund managers, investment specialists and financiers from around the world. Corporate presentations on the newest and most successful projects provide the foundation for institutional portfolio growth and asset diversification. Government and agency presentations update policies and incentives for potential partners.

Delegates who participate in the Mining Indaba conference gain knowledge, and experience first-hand the rewards and risks of investing in more than 130 mineral-rich countries around the world.  Mining Indaba provides companies with a platform on which to build shareholder base, and with exposure to professionals specializing in natural resources worldwide.

This networking and knowledge sharing event started two years ago in order to facilitate exchange across sustainability actors who can otherwise be diluted in the larger Indaba space.
